Telling your employer about your disability

Lots of people with disability aren’t sure if they should tell their employer about their disability.

You don’t have to tell your employer about your disability unless it will affect how:

• well you can do the job
• safe you will be at work. 

It can be helpful to talk to your employer about your disability.

They can help make sure you get the support you need to do a good job.
