What is Intersex?

People have an intersex variation have features that are different to most female or male bodies.

These features may be:

• physical
  or
• biological.

Intersex traits usually develop or are noticed:

• when a person is born

or

• when a person goes through puberty.

People with intersex variations can have many sexualities and genders.

They may identify as LGBTIQA+ or they may not.
